Steven Pope



Steven is the office manager at Two Rivers Counseling, LLC. He brings to the position a wealth of management and customer service experience. Having spent many years in retail and owning his own business, Steven is now with us to make your counseling experience a comfortable one. From the first phone call and throughout your relationship with Two Rivers Counseling, LLC he is here to answer your questions and assist you with the counseling process. 








Robyn Harrison-Taft, MA, LPC, NCC



Robyn earned her M.A. in Counseling from West Virginia University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She has effectively worked with children, adolescents, families, and adults. During her fifteen years experience in the mental health field she has provided community education, worked with clients through life transitions, as well as effectively helped those dealing with depression, anxiety, domestic violence, and ADHD. She has worked in many clinical settings including: community agencies, an outpatient psychiatric office, and a private counseling agency. She also has experience in a public school system. She has completed the Level 2 training in the Gottman Method of couples therapy. Lastly, she is a family mediator.

I believe that everyone has the power to change. I meet my clients where they are and I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental and supportive environment to facilitate that change. Donna Maciorowski, MA, LPC, NCC, CTT

Donna Maciorowski holds an M.A. in Counseling from West Virginia University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified Trauma Therapist (CTT). Donna has ten years of counseling experience in several clinical settings including an: outpatient community mental health center; an inpatient hospital psychiatric unit; a private outpatient psychiatric office; and an outpatient intensive trauma therapy practice. She has worked effectively with children, teenagers, and adults. Her professional expertise centers on trauma, ADHD, depression, anxiety, grief, domestic violence, school and work stress, self-esteem and career issues. Donna incorporates techniques from a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution-focused therapy and Trauma therapy. In addition to counseling, Donna has extensive experience as a Family Mediator resolving custody issues and other disputes. 

“My role as a counselor is to help people explore their innermost thoughts and experiences. Particularly those painful thoughts and experiences that impact their ability to live life to its fullest. Together we look at the beliefs, attitudes and behaviors that a client finds troubling and work towards a better understanding of those drivers.  With this knowledge we can begin to resolve the pain from the past, start the healing process, and the client can start to make healthier choices and decisions for themselves.”

Jennifer Newman MSW, LICSW


Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker; having received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. Jennifer began her career working with home-based agencies where she worked with at-risk children and adolescents. She has spent several years working in medical settings providing individual and group counseling to adults, children and adolescents. Jennifer has worked extensively with individuals who are experiencing grief and loss issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem and adjustment issues. Jennifer has completed Level 1 training for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).

“My role as a counselor is to help individuals; I cannot push you or pull you through your experience, I can only walk along side of you offering professional assistance to move you forward in your life. I work collaboratively with my client’s to identify goals they can work towards in a safe, nonjudgmental and supportive environment. “

Sarah Anderson MA, LPC, NCC



Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) having received her degree from West Virginia University.  Sarah has worked with children, adolescents and adults in many settings that include group homes, in-home services, a community health agency and a psychiatric hospital.  In addition to her counseling experience Sarah has also held positions as an admissions specialist and a clinical supervisor.  Her theoretical orientations are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Rational Emotive Therapy.  She is currently undergoing training to be certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Two Rivers Counseling, LLC has added massage therapy to our services and we would like to welcome Beth Ripka with Flowing Stream Massage to our practice.

Beth comes to massage therapy after many years in the corporate world.  With her she brings an understanding of the varied levels of stress and anxiety that so many experience daily in their work life.  All too often, the time to relax is limited and tension builds in the body effecting both physical and mental well-being.  Knowing and experiencing this first hand, Beth’s hope is that her focus of study and use of Swedish Massage techniques will bring relief and relaxation all her clients.

“I want to help others who are struggling with the daily stresses of life as well as pain and who are told that there is nothing that can be done to help them.  My commitment is to treat every individual according to their needs.  My passion in life is to help heal the mind, body and soul.”

90-minute sessions…treat yourself to a little more relaxation and add another 30 minutes of pure relaxation and serenity.   – $90
